Update on Camryn:
Overall, her surgery yesterday went very well. The recovery afterwards was a little shaky. They ended up taking her back to the OR around midnight last night to remove some built up fluid caused by a nicked vessel, repair that vessel and then get her cleaned up and stiched back together. It was a decision that the surgeon was ultimately glad he made. Her night was pretty uneventful and then her morning was pretty crazy again. She had an arterial line put in her wrist that would not stop leaking and after taking the line out it took them about an hour and a half to get it to clot. We are now are in a much better place with Camryn being able to relax and ultimately heal. They currently have her on the ventilator to give some added support with the amount of fluids she has been given which is making it harder to breathe without a little assistance which makes her uncomfortable. They are slowly weaning her off and the plan is to remove the tube
hopefully in the morning. Overall they are pleased with the progress she has made since last night and is in a good spot but still has some
little kinks to be worked on to put her in the best spot she can be.
Please keep the family in your prayers. Thanks again to the DMP pullers for pulling together to help this family make this possible! The support and kindness of this group is just AMAZING!!!
