I dont think anone wants to do away with the altered class just would like to see the open class added at some events.. Us guys with small blocks like to run with you all but the truxus rule and Aluminum heads rule us out... We may not be able to compete with you Gus but we like to try for fun

I am not trying to make enemies but y'all can take it how you want.
My dad always told me that "Chevy" was a bad word and for me not to say it!

Guys they way its starting to sound to me, the mountain boyz are running a 6400 truck. Welded rear, hydraulic steering , moved motors, that's just too much of a gap for us to try to fill to get y'all to pull in our points class. We made a lot of changes so that it would make it a lot easier for y'all to pull with us. In our respective class. If we were gonna run the EXACT same rules as y'all, there wouldn't be two organizations! And as for the ex514 head, one of the ford trucks that pulled and broke was making 900hp with those heads. And y'all honestly expect us to let that into the class. I am a Chevy guy, and I will say the fords have handed it to me more than a few times in my 5 years of pulling. Having said that, I want it equal for the competition. The guys in our class aren't complaining about it, instead we are having fun pulling together, and everyone is competitive. So for the guys that want to pull with in the altered STREET class, we've made it easier for you. If that's not enough, then I'm sorry we can't address your needs.

Oh and as for the open class, I have no problem with it here and there. And if time allows, I will come pull at one or two of them if nothing else is going on

I see why the mountain boyz organization is falling apart
